David Bollenbacher, Tidewater's President, has been in construction his entire life. After humble, yet meaningful beginnings as a laborer for a custom homebuilder in high school, he attended Virginia Tech where he received a B.S. in Building Construction. Since then, he has worked as Estimator, Project Engineer, and Project Manager for several national contracting firms before settling in Wilmington, NC.

A licensed general contractor and home insepctor in North Carolina, he has a wife and 2 children and enjoys living the lifestyle that coastal North Carolina affords.

His wife, Carrie, is also the company's resident licensed Civil Engineer. She is intimitely involved in the company's land development efforts with her skills taken from 10 years designing some of North Carolina and Southern California's finest environmentally low-impact neighborhoods and commerical developments.

Terry Lewis, Tidewater's Vice President and managing partner is a lifelong native of Wilmington. His background stems from a career in mechanical contracting for the area's premier HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors on the areas most intricate commerical buildings including hospitals, museums, schools, parking decks, and institutional buildings.

Always building his own homes, Terry has a wide range of practical construction knowledge that shows every day on the construction site. Experience and knowledge such as his is not learned but experienced over decades in the industry.

He is a wealth of real life experience that cannot be duplicated and that is the culmination of a lifetime's work in construction. His wife is Tidewater's resident Accountant, who thanklessly and tirelessly lends herself to the company's financial well-being.
